Autumn Salon

The Znyata Gallery presented two young authors working with the medium of photography. These were Rita Novikova, with a series of works from the AQUA project, shown in 2019 as part of the 2X2 exhibition project, and Siarhei Yazlavetski, with his landscape works, some of which were shown as part of the ARTERIA young photography project.

Despite the fact that the format of the "Autumn Salon" implied the commercial promotion of artists, it was proposed to consider the Pavilion of the "Znyata" gallery as a creative exhibition statement on the topic of ecology.

Landscapes by Siarhei Yazlavetski show the stunning beauty of nature untouched by human civilisation, primeval landscapes that he had been taking in Iceland for several years. Thanks to the object (table-lightbox) on which the slides (100 frames) were exposed, viewers could see the volume of the topic being developed by the author.
